This is one expensive rain jacket! Probably the most expensive WP jacket I have ever purchased. But, it's worth every dime! I'm a small guy so I purchased the small size in black and I absolutely love it. It fits perfectly.Is it lightweight? This is the lightest jacket I have ever....EVER owned! It's called Helium for a reason! The quality is impressive as it should be. Perfect for the ultralight backpacker and extremely compactable. I'm impressed with my purchase and would do it again. I live in Florida and we are in the middle of the rainy season and I was annoyed at the fact that I could not go outside every day because of the rain. I don't mind getting a little wet but I don't like being drenched.I ordered this jacket out of desperation and it arrived just in time for Tropical Storm Debbie, so perfect timing to put it on and head out. It is extremely thin and light, but don't be fooled, it works just as advertised. It will keep you dry in a down pour. It is fairly breathable but you will still sweat some because of it, but that is to be expected, it is after all an extra layer that you will be wearing.
