Wasn't even able to try it out because, straight out of the box, it didn't work. I am no longer a fan of the twist on/off switch. The top feels loose when twisted. This one may be an oddity but I don't want to test an exchange. I'm returning it for a refund. Cons: Battery size, Short battery life. Needs better retention device. In all I am happy with the light, If I had it to do again I would go with a small light that takes one AA or AAA batteries. All of my other lights, GPS units and such have those two sizes. Which are easy to get anywhere, and I already have a spare set or two in the pack.
