Mistakes DO happen in manufacturing.Blade -Sharpness: (5/5) My knife of this model passed the paper-shaving and water bottle cutting tests I administered. That means it passed the same tests as my razor-sharp Cold Steel AK47. -Blade Play: (5/5) I saw no wiggle room when I pushed on the blade in a side-to-side fashion, so its build is pretty solid. -Length: (3/5) This knife is part of its "Military and Police" series, the blade seems a bit too short for its implied use, which, by the sound of "Military and Police," implies it's designed for self-defense. In my opinion, 2.8" is too short for a blade designed for self-defense. For me, I can see a total difference between 2.8" and 3.25" for blade length. Handle -Length: (3/5) The handle is kinda short; I have small hands, and I think the handle is a little too short. It just barely seems large... The MAGIC opening handle fell out of the box when I opened it. I sent it to Smith & Wesson and they told me that they will send me a new one. They told me they were having this problem alot. Other than that the knife seems to be a pretty nice one that is why I was able to give them at least 2 stars. |
