We purchase a Camelbak Mini-M.U.L.E. for day hiking with our five year old daughter. This was a great little pack for her. The four compartments held her lunch, a rain poncho, emergency blanket, first aid kit, a fleece and, of course, her water supply. The size is perfect for her. I'm very pleased with the quality of construction.My daughter loves drinking water from the pack. Our biggest problem was pacing her water consumption. The first day out she drained the Camelbak bladder while filling her own bladder within the first 1/2 mile. We didn't make it to a bush in time. Oops! My two year old drank from my Camelbak. He too loves drinking from the Camelbak.
