This review is from: Harmony House Foods Dried Carrots, 3/8" diced (14 oz, Quart Size Jar) for Cooking, Camping, Emergency Supply, and More (Misc.) I don't know how Harmony House manages to retain such wonderful color and flavor in their dried foods without chemical additives or preservatives, but I sure appreciate that they do. These diced dried carrots are excellent, and a great way to always have carrots on hand for seasoning and cooking while eliminating the problem of having fresh ones go bad in the fridge and having to throw them out. The listing says "quart size jar," but at 14 ounces it's actually closer to a pint-sized jar. Still, since dehydrated vegetables are a fraction of their original, un-dehydrated size, there are a lot of carrots in the jar. If you mainly use carrots just for seasoning or to add a little color to dishes, they'll last quite a while.
