Lightweight, and easy to pack. Serrations help when you're digging in soil with roots or other tough materials. It's held up well for me, but I don't use it for jobs it wasn't intended to do. This trowel is a must-have any backpacking or rugged camping trip without toilets. Two huge advantages to this trowel:1. It weighs only 3 ounces, yet is very durable. It's very lightweight, but still incredibly strong. I don't see a need to carry a heavier metal trowel. This plastic trowel is very strong and has served me well for years. 2. It has a ruler built-in to the trowel, so you can accurately measure if you have dug a 6" hole. (6" is the common legal requirement for digging a hole to poop in) Why guess if you have dug 6"? This trowel will tell you. |
