I bought the shootag at the urging of my husband and was not expecting it to work. OUr golden gets ill with chemical flea and tick meds and we have tried everything and nothing safe ever has worked. Within 2 days of putting the tags on her, we noticed more fleas which I think was the fleas jumping off the dog in their confusion from the magnets/tags. I kept her well brushed and vacuumed often and the trouble was shortlived. My small dog had fleas on just the flea and tick med so I thought maybe I would try the Shoo tags. His fleas are definitely gone. The big dog spends more time outside though and we live in the country with a big tick problem. In the 3 weeks, he has worn it I have not noticed a drop in the number of ticks. So, I guess I am happy about the fleas being gone for sure but not sure how the tick part works. That was what I was really wanting to control too.
