Each bag has a plastic slot to insert an inventory card; making finding items very easy. They are large enough to carry a good amount of gear in, yet small enough to easly pack into the car. Switching from 40 gallon plastic totes to these bags has made camping storage and setup much easier, while making our site clean and organized. We now have one with all the beach supplies: 4 towels, sun screen, & water shoes in one bag that is ready to go. I had also a large plastic tote with wheels at that time for all my small camping items. But it was so, big. My wife suggested that I just use the bingo bags instead of the plastic tote. I gave it a try and was amazed when three bags swallowed up everything I had in the plastic tote. Now the overall size is half of what the plastic tote was. Also the tote was very heavy now the total weight (minus the weight of the tote) is divided by three. They are inexpensive, durable, and very useful. Mine have toted daily carry items back and forth to work, knitting projects, books, lunches, spare clothes, and pretty much anything else I needed to bring someplace. The reinforcement on the side seams helps the bag stand upright and the generous u-shaped zipper at the top makes it easy to fill the bag to capacity if you need to really pack it full. It's got carry handles on the top flap, the sides, and an over-the-shoulder strap so no matter how full your hands are, there's a way to grab this bag. It's a simple but effective design - I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. |
